Since 2005, Eli Servance III has been bartending in New York City. His first gig was in a neighborhood soul food restaurant. From that entry point he’s worked with Michelin starred chefs, Tales of The Cocktail Bartender of The Year recipients, three-star New York Times restaurants, and companies like Bon Appetit, Soho House, Campari and Food Network NYCWFF.
Eli partnered with Antoinette Greer (owner/proprietor) of Tip Top Bar & Grill, a Bed-Stuy institution for over 40+ years to help revitalize their bar program and assist with a smooth reopening in a pandemic world.
Recently, Eli has been fielding requests from friends, regulars, and colleagues to put together an assortment of recipes to get through the pandemic. This gives him the chance to see friendly faces from a socially safe distance AND to do something he loves: craft cocktails. The resulting brainchild was born: Distillmatic
At Distillmatic we use fresh juices pressed daily. All infusions, shrubs, syrups, tinctures, and advanced cocktail mixer productions are handled in-house utilizing Eli’s NYC Food Handlers license, BarSmarts and TIPS certifications. Quality means everything; we will never use swill in any of our batches, ever.
